About Daria Samonova

I’m a filmmaker and producer interested in stories that are visually seductive, psychologically complicated, and a little uncomfortable.

My work moves between directing, producing, production design, and creative development, with experience across narrative film, music video, commercial, and editorial projects. I’m especially drawn to strong characters, heightened worlds, and the details that make an image or story feel intentional.

I graduated from NYU Tisch School of the Arts in Film & Television Production and have worked across Moscow, New York, and Europe. Whether I’m building a film from the ground up or translating an idea into a visual concept, I care most about creating work with a clear point of view.
